Flinty, saline-driven Chardonnay with lemon confit, green apple, ripe pear, pineapple and citrus blossom. Hints of cream, pie crust and subtle butterscotch; precise, structured palate with bright acidity and a long, saline finish.

Goldrock Estate—purchased by Paul Hobbs in 2016—is a remote 42‑acre vineyard near Annapolis on the West Sonoma Coast. Planted mainly to Pinot Noir with small Chardonnay blocks on Goldridge soils, ~5 miles from the Pacific.
