Aromas of black cherry, cassis, spice, leather and subtle woodsmoke. Medium–full-bodied, bright acidity with concentrated dark-fruit core, firm ripe tannins and a long, savory finish with liquorice and gamey notes.

Hand-harvested Pinot Noir; fully or mostly destemmed with short cold soak, indigenous yeast fermentation in vats, minimal pigeage; élevage 15–18 months in French oak (significant new oak for premiers).

Domaine Méo-Camuzet (Vosne‑Romanée) led by Jean‑Nicolas Méo; estate expanded holdings since 1986, farming close-to-organic practices and bottling premier- and grand-cru sites under the family label. Historically advised by Henri Jayer.
