Merlot-driven, ripe blackberry and black cherry with tobacco, mocha, licorice and warm spice. Silky, sweet tannins, concentrated fruit and mineral undertones; medium–full body with a long, savory finish.

釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested Merlot-dominant fruit; cold maceration and stainless-fermentation, saignée used (2000); matured in French oak barriques (2000 reported ~100% new oak) for ~12–18 months.

Small Saint‑Émilion estate owned by Jonathan Maltus since the late 1990s; ~5–6 ha of mostly old Merlot vines (planted c.1957). Boutique production vinified in Maltus’ modern facilities.
