Fragrant, toasty nose with preserved lemon and stone fruit. Rich, creamy palate of peach and apricot balanced by bright citrus acidity, saline minerality and fine oak spice. Layered, medium-bodied with a long, focused finish and excellent ageing potential.

Western: roast chicken, creamy pasta, mushroom risotto, grilled seafood, seared scallops; Asian: miso-glazed fish, tempura prawns, sushi (salmon/tuna), lightly spiced Thai or Chinese seafood dishes.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed; indigenous yeast fermentation; 100% barrel fermentation in French oak; 100% malolactic fermentation; 11 months on lees; bottled under screwcap.

Family-owned Kumeu River (Brajkovich family) since 1944. Michael Brajkovich MW leads Burgundian-style Chardonnay production from several Kumeu vineyards, known for low yields, lyre trellising and long lees ageing.
