Hand-harvested Clare Valley Shiraz parcels (declassified from The Armagh plus family vineyards), destemmed, fermented in small/open fermenters, completed malolactic in oak and matured ~12 months in French oak before bottling under screwcap.

Family-owned Jim Barry estate; McRae Wood vineyard first planted 1964. McRae Wood is a Clare Valley icon made from low-yielding, selected Shiraz parcels across the family vineyards.
