Hand‑harvested fruit; cold soak and extended maceration (≈17–18 days) in open fermenters; basket‑pressed; aged ~15–18 months in fine‑grain French oak (majority new/used mix, ~60–75% new).

Hickinbotham Clarendon Vineyard (est. 1971) sits on high‑elevation ancient soils. Bottled under the Hickinbotham label since 2012; managed by Chris Carpenter, Peter Fraser and viticulturist Michael Lane. Farmed using organic/biodynamic practices (certified practices in recent years).
