Light ruby with garnet hues. Aromas of wild red berries, blackcurrant, Mediterranean herbs (oregano), spice and volcanic ash. Bright acidity, fine velvety tannins, iron/mineral grip and a long savory, fruit-tinged finish.

Hand‑harvested Nerello Mascalese; spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in truncated‑cone oak vats; extended maceration (30–90 days); malolactic in barrel; aged ~18–24 months in large oak vats, then bottle rest.
