Dense ruby colour; cassis, blackberry, leather, clove and smoky oak. Medium–full body with polished, slightly firm tannins, balanced acidity and a spice-tinged, persistent finish.

Western: roast lamb, grilled beef, venison, roasted game, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), braised beef, richer Sichuan dishes.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested; traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, malolactic fermentation; aged ~14 months in French oak (≈40% new).

Created by Henri Martin from 1942, Château Gloria is a ~50 ha, family-managed estate in Saint-Julien (Domaines Henri Martin); assembled from parcels of classed growths and recently moved toward organic conversion.
