品鑑筆記
 
Rich amber; aromas of candied apricot, dried fig, marzipan, toasted hazelnut and nougat. Palate is velvety and balanced with dried-fruit, vanilla, warm spice and a long rancio finish.
 

 
搭配食物
 
Western: dark chocolate desserts, macarons, praliné mousse, mimolette/parmesan/blue cheeses, roasted duck or lamb. Asian: Peking duck, Chinese five-spice or braised pork belly (hong shao rou), seared scallops with soy-butter, spiced Thai prawns.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Single-estate grapes double-distilled in traditional Charentais copper pot stills (sur lies), long-aged in Limousin oak in dry cellars, then blended from old reserves and bottled at 41% ABV.
