Deep black-fruit core of blackberry and plum with violets, cedar, tobacco, leather and sweet spice. Full-bodied, structured tannins, bright acidity and a very long, savory finish.

釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested; separate vinification of Merlot and Sangiovese, controlled-temperature fermentation, extended maceration; aged ~18 months in small French oak (high % new), then finished in concrete before bottling.

Castello di Fonterutoli (Mazzei family) historic estate in Castellina in Chianti. Siepi first produced 1992 as the estate’s top IGT blend from the Siepi vineyard.
