Golden-copper color. Aromas of dried apricot, peach, honey, caramel and toasted almond. Lush, silky sweetness balanced by lively acidity and oak spice, with long, nutty, caramel finish.

Western: cantucci (almond biscotti), tarte Tatin, crème brûlée, blue cheeses (Gorgonzola), foie gras. Asian: mango sticky rice, mooncakes, sesame balls, red-bean sweets, and richer Peking duck or hoisin-glazed dishes.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested grapes dried on mats (appassimento), gently pressed; fermented and aged in sealed 100L oak caratelli with the 'madre', matured ~7 years in vinsantaia, then bottled and rested.
