Hand-harvested; traditional Bordeaux fermentation in temperature-controlled vats, élevage 15–17 months in French oak barrels (≈45% new).

Historic Margaux estate (dating to 12th century), 52 ha vineyard, classified 5ème Cru (1855). Modernized under Eric Albada Jelgersma (bought 1997). Sister property to Château Giscours.
