Bright red-fruit (cherry, raspberry) with wild blackberry, sous-bois and spice; medium-bodied, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and a mineral, persistent finish.

Western: roast beef, braised lamb, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, aged cow cheeses (Époisses, Comté). Asian: Peking duck, char siu (barbecued pork), soy-ginger beef dishes, shiitake-miso eggplant, and richer Korean stews.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts (partial whole clusters sometimes used), malolactic completion and barrel aging (12–18 months in French oak; modest % new); unfined/unfiltered; biodynamic viticulture.

Family domaine founded in 1942; run by Cyprien Arlaud (15 ha across Morey, Gevrey, Chambolle); organic since mid-2000s and certified biodynamic in 2014. Known for careful vineyard work (horse-ploughing on selected parcels).
