Golden-honey colour; aromas of orange blossom, candied citrus, apricot, pineapple, honey and lanolin. Lush, satiny palate with marmalade, quince and spice, bright acidity and a long, mineral, honeyed finish.

Hand‑harvested in multiple passes to select botrytized berries; gentle pressing, fermentation and ageing ~36 months in new oak barrels; extremely low yields; residual sugar ~148 g/L.

Château d'Yquem — the only 1855 Premier Cru Supérieur in Sauternes; historic Lur‑Saluces estate (now owned/operated under LVMH), famed for botrytis-driven wines and exceptional longevity. Estate ~126 ha with very low yields.
