Lemon curd, white peach and almond with bright citrus, chalky minerality, white flowers, honeyed undertones and subtle toasty oak; broad, concentrated palate with a very long, saline finish.

Western: lobster, scallops, grilled/roasted white fish, roast chicken, creamy pasta, soft/hard cheeses. Asian: miso-glazed black cod, sushi/sashimi, tempura, Cantonese-steamed fish, lightly spiced Thai or Vietnamese dishes.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Whole-bunch pneumatic pressing, native-yeast fermentation (tank start, finish in barrel), aged ~16 months in Cîteaux oak (~20% new) then rested in tank; organic/biodynamic vineyard practices.
 

 
酒莊資訊
 
Domaine de la Vougeraie (Boisset family; established 1999) farms organic and biodynamically across many Côte d'Or parcels. Charlemagne bottling is from two small parcels (Le Charlemagne & En Charlemagne totaling ~0.495 ha), some vines dating to the 1950s; many plots worked by horse.
