Bright garnet; red cherry, cranberry and raspberry with black pepper, forest-floor and saline minerality. Silky texture, fine tannins and fresh acidity; youthful austerity with long aging potential.

Western: roast duck, magret de canard, coq au vin, mushroom risotto, grilled lamb. Asian: Peking or Cantonese roast duck, teriyaki duck, bulgogi (Korean BBQ), shiitake soba or mushroom ramen, Cantonese-style red-braised pork.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested, high whole-cluster use; vinified without pumping over or added sulphites; aged 14–18 months in Burgundy oak (≈10% new, remainder older barrels).

Domaine Chandon de Briailles (Claude & François de Nicolay) is a 14ha family estate practicing organic/biodynamic viticulture since mid-2000s (Demeter certified). Île des Vergelesses parcels are mid-slope, clay-limestone soils, old vines (c.40–50 yrs).
