Deep black cherry, plum and blackberry fruit with notes of cedar, tobacco, spice and dark chocolate. Silky texture, fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity and a long, spicy finish.

Western: roast lamb, ribeye steak, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), Korean bulgogi, lamb rendang or dry-style Sichuan beef.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested, destemmed, fermented in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic conversion followed by aging in French oak barrels (partially new) for ~12–18 months.

Château Certan de May is a small historic Pomerol estate (≈5–5.5 ha) owned by the Barreau family; traditional Right Bank style with modern vinification input from noted consultants.
