Deep cherry-red with violet hues. Intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit, dried rose petal, licorice, cedar and dark chocolate. Palate is expressive, structured and balanced with fine tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy, mineral finish.

釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested from old vines; fermentation in 1,800L tanks with two remontados/day, maceration 28+ days; malolactic in 500L French oak; aged 15–17 months in 500L French oak barrels (1º–3º use).

Bodegas Cosme Palacio (part of Bodegas Palacio 1894) founded in 1894 in Laguardia. Known for marrying Rioja tradition and modern techniques; sources vineyards at high altitude and centenary vines.
