品鑑筆記
 
Ruby red with aromas of red and black berries, forest floor, spice and cocoa. Firm, polished tannins, lively acidity and a velvety mid-palate leading to a long, mineral-tinged finish.
 

 
搭配食物
 
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, game, chorizo, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi), Cantonese char siu, Peking duck, Sichuan-style braised beef or spicy noodle dishes.
 

 
釀造方式
 
Hand-harvested Baga (and some Touriga Nacional). Fermented with prolonged skin maceration in stainless steel lagares, then aged ~18 months in used French oak (400–700L). Minimal-intervention viticulture.
 

 
酒莊資訊
 
Kompassus is a boutique Bairrada producer (João Póvoa) using old vines (50–90 yrs). Anselmo Mendes has been the consulting winemaker since 2012, focusing on terroir-driven, low-intervention wines.
