Concentrated, intensely aromatic bitters: bitter herbal core with clove, cinnamon, cardamom, citrus peel and vanilla notes; dry, spicy and lingering bitter finish.

Use as a cocktail ingredient (Old Fashioned, Manhattan) and in cooking: Western — grilled/roasted meats, stews, smoked brisket, dark chocolate desserts, strong cheeses. Asian — Thai grilled pork, Vietnamese pho, Chinese braised beef, Sichuan dishes, Korean BBQ. Adds depth to sauces and marinades.
釀造方式
A secret blend of botanicals (herbs, spices and citrus) is macerated in high‑proof neutral spirit, then diluted with distilled water to bottling strength (44.7% ABV). Exact recipe is closely guarded.

House of Angostura, created by Dr. Johann Siegert in 1824 in Angostura (Venezuela); production moved to Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1875. Company also produces rum and other bitters.
