Deep red with scarlet rim. Shows black fruit, stewed plum, cherry blossom, cocoa, sandalwood, vanilla and balsamic spice; warm, full-bodied, lively acidity and pliant yet present tannins with a long oaky finish.

Hand‑harvested, rigorous grape selection, small stainless‑steel tank fermentations, gentle basket pressing; aged 16 months in French and American oak (≈80% new, 20% second‑use) with malolactic fermentation.

Bodegas Alto Moncayo (founded 2002) focuses on old‑vine Garnacha from high‑altitude plots (≈500–850m) in the Moncayo foothills; project started to highlight Campo de Borja’s native Garnacha.
