Tasting Note
Lush, sweet black-fruit and dried-fig aromas with cinnamon, toasted almond and leather. Silky, full-bodied palate with sweet tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Western: dark chocolate, chocolate desserts, fruitcake, blue (Roquefort) and mature cheeses, foie gras. Asian: Chinese red-braised pork (hong shao rou), Peking duck with hoisin, mooncakes and rich Asian desserts.
Production Method
Classic fermentation halted to retain high residual sugar, fortified with grape spirit, then aged ~24 months in used French oak barrels.
