Tasting Note
Intense smoky/flinty minerality with citrus, apricot and orange‑confit notes; very saline and racy on the palate, high crisp acidity and a long, dry, precise finish.

Food Pairing
Seared scallops, oysters, grilled prawns, roasted pork belly, Alsatian choucroute, smoked salmon, roast chicken with lemon, spicy Thai or Szechuan dishes, sushi/sashimi, rich shellfish-based sauces.

Production Method
Biodynamic viticulture; hand‑harvested Riesling from Grand Cru Rangen; fermented dry and matured in old French oak (≈18 months); bottled January 2020.

Domaine Zind‑Humbrecht (family winemakers since 1620) is run by Olivier & Margaret Humbrecht; the estate farms ≈40ha and owns the 5.5ha Clos Saint‑Urbain parcel in Rangen. Certified biodynamic since 2002.
