Tasting Note

Perfumed red cherry and raspberry, rose petal, pomegranate and spice with saline minerality, silky texture and fine sandy tannins; elegant yet concentrated with a long, savory finish.

Roast duck with cherries, lamb (roast or kofta), charcuterie and aged cheeses; Asian pairings: Peking duck, char siu pork, Korean BBQ, Sichuan pepper beef, miso‑glazed eggplant.


Production Method

Hand‑picked from Block 31; 50% whole berries, open fermenters, wild yeast, long gentle maceration (≈21+ days), no pressings; matured ~11 months in older French oak; unfined, light filtration.

Yangarra Estate, biodynamic/organic single‑vineyard in Blewitt Springs. Block 31 old bush vines planted 1946 (210m elevation). Winemaker Peter Fraser crafts estate Grenache as the domaine flagship.
