Tasting Note
Deep amber single malt with dried fruits, raisin, dark chocolate, toffee, and honeyed caramel, layered with toasted Mizunara oak spice, subtle cedar, and a long warm, slightly spicy finish.

Western: dark chocolate, blue cheese, roasted or grilled red meats (ribeye), game, aged cheeses. Asian: miso-glazed fish or eggplant, yakitori, sashimi (salmon), soy-glazed dishes, dried fruit or sweet bean desserts.

Production Method
Single malt pot-still distillation at Yamazaki; matured 18 years in a mix of American oak, Spanish sherry butts and rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks; vatted and bottled at 43% ABV.

Produced by Suntory at Japan’s first commercial distillery founded by Shinjiro Torii (1923). Yamazaki is renowned for multi-cask ageing and refined Japanese whisky craftsmanship.
