Tasting Note
Fragrant stone fruit (peach, pineapple), candied orange, vanilla and clove; buttery toasted coconut and ripe peach on the palate; long, spicy finish with ginger, cinnamon and Mizunara oak.
Food Pairing
Western: roast pork, grilled salmon, aged cheddar, dark chocolate. Asian: miso-glazed black cod, yakitori, fatty tuna (otoro) sushi, spicy Korean BBQ (galbi).
Production Method
Single malt from 100% malted barley, distilled in pot stills and matured 12 years in American ex-bourbon, Spanish oloroso sherry and Japanese Mizunara oak casks; vatted and bottled at 43% ABV.
