Tasting Note
Red cherry, raspberry and dark-plum fruit with earthy, leather and spice notes. Silky entry developing firm, velvety tannins, balanced acidity and a savory, slightly tobacco-tinged finish (elegant yet powerful).

Production Method
Hand-harvested Pinot Noir; cold soak followed by fermentation in stainless steel and/or oak vats with a combination of pump-over and punch-down; aged ~12 months in French oak (around 25–30% new).

Domaine Xavier Monnot (Meursault) is a family estate run by Xavier Monnot since 1994, ~17 ha across the Côte de Beaune. Les Vignots is a south-facing lieu-dit above Pommard with many older vines (1950s plantings in part).
