Tasting Note
Spiced plum, red raspberry and black-blue fruits with licorice, thyme and pepper; medium-bodied, elegant and concentrated, framed by very fine silky tannins and subtle French oak.

Roast lamb, grilled or roasted beef, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar; Asian: char siu or Cantonese roast pork, Korean BBQ, teriyaki beef, spicy Sichuan beef, miso-glazed eggplant.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Shiraz from top Coonawarra sites; fermented in stainless vats and matured ~14 months in French oak hogsheads and barriques (small % new); bottled under screwcap

Vineyard Info
Wynns Coonawarra Estate dates to John Riddoch’s 1891 plantings; purchased by Samuel and David Wynn in 1951. Wynns is Coonawarra’s flagship producer and largest Terra Rossa vineyard holder.
