Popular specialist retailers and importers (Nicks, Indigo Wine, WineWybe, Winewolf, Delectable) list strong scores and tasting notes for the Gippsland Pinot Noir range

Tasting Note

Bright red cherry and plum with forest-floor and savoury earth notes, subtle clove and oak spice, silky fine tannins and medium-plus length; elegant, mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing

Western: roast duck, mushroom risotto, pork loin, charcuterie, roasted root vegetables, soft cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, miso-glazed salmon, soy/teriyaki pork (char siu), mushroom bao or soba, umami-rich Korean stews.

Production Method

Dry-grown fruit, destemmed whole berries to open wooden/stainless vats; native-yeast fermentation (~30 days) without temperature control; pressed and aged ~10 months in French oak (c.10–20% new); minimal SO2, unfined/unfiltered.
