Awards/Ratings

Critical reception: ~93/100 in multiple reviews (Wineanorak, Liquid Library, WineSaveur). Retailers rate it highly for bright fruit, balance and value

Tasting Note

Bright red cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruits with violet florals, fresh herb and gentle spice; light-to-medium body, lively acidity, polished fine tannins and a mineral-earth finish.

Food Pairing

Western: roast chicken, mushroom risotto, pork tenderloin, grilled salmon. Asian: teriyaki or miso-glazed salmon, Korean bulgogi, char siu, shiitake noodle dishes.

Production Method

Fruit is destemmed (not crushed) and fermented on skins with ambient/native yeasts in open fermenters; minimal intervention (no punchdowns/pumpovers), ~3 weeks on skins, pressed to stainless steel for malolactic, lightly sulphured and bottled often unfiltered/unfined.
