Tasting Note

Evolved vintage port: mature plums, prunes and dried figs with caramel, coffee, tobacco and cedar. Copper rim, deep burgundy centre; silky, integrated tannins and a long sweet finish.


Food Pairing

Western: aged blue cheese (Stilton), dark chocolate, walnut tart, crème brûlée, roasted game. Asian: Peking duck, hoisin/char‑siu pork belly, five‑spice braised beef, sticky rice desserts, sesame or red‑bean sweets.


Production Method

Traditional Douro vintage method: fermented in lagares, fortified with grape spirit during fermentation, aged 2–3 years in large oak vats, bottled and long bottle‑aged.
