Tasting Note
Translucent amber-copper; aromas of toasted nuts, dried orange, toffee and rancio. Palate shows honeyed caramel, dried figs, citrus peel and warm spice, with lively acidity and a long, balanced, nutty finish.
Food Pairing
Western: Stilton or aged blue cheese, pecan pie, crème brûlée, dark chocolate, almond tarts. Asian: mooncakes, sesame desserts, red-bean or chestnut sweets, Peking duck or char siu (sweet-salty roasted pork).
Production Method
Non-vintage blend of many years, fermentation stopped by fortification with grape brandy; aged on average 20 years in seasoned oak casks, then blended and bottled ready-to-drink.

Warre’s (est. 1670), now owned by Symington Family Estates; sources grapes from Douro quintas including Quinta da Cavadinha and others, blending house style of floral freshness and elegance.
