Tasting Note
Silky, medium‑full tawny with dried fig, apricot, orange peel, toasted hazelnut, caramel and subtle spice. Bright acidity balances plush sweetness, finishing long with nutty toffee and citrus-tinged warmth.
Food Pairing
Western: blue cheeses, aged cheddar, walnut/fig/stone-fruit desserts, dark chocolate, crème brûlée. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese roast pork), red-braised pork (hong shao rou), spicy Sichuan pork, sticky rice with mango.
Production Method
Blend of traditional Douro varieties aged an average of 10 years in seasoned oak casks in Gaia lodges; wines are fined, filtered and bottled ready-to-drink.
