Tasting Note
Pale, slightly smoky Chenin with orchard fruit (pear, vine peach), citrus zest, saline/leesy texture and a mineral chalky finish. Fresh acidity balances a gently rounded mid-palate.

Western: seafood lasagna, bouillabaisse, grilled white fish, goat cheese, roast pork. Asian: pork & shrimp dumplings, shrimp tempura, sushi/sashimi, steamed shellfish, Thai fish dishes.
Production Method
Hand-harvested. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in large foudre and 400L oak barrels; aged 7–9 months on lees. Malolactic fermentation carried out on this vintage.

Domaine Vincent Carême (founded 1999) is a family-run, certified-organic Vouvray producer working old Chenin vines (≈45 yrs) on flinty clay over limestone soils.
