Tasting Note
Delicately frizzante, intensely aromatic with orange blossom, rose petal, ripe peach and apricot, honey and ginger notes. Light-bodied, gently sweet with lively acidity and a refreshing, short-to-medium finish.
Food Pairing
Western: fruit tarts, panna cotta, lemon curd tart, blue or goat cheeses. Asian: mango sticky rice, Thai green curry, mildly spicy Sichuan dishes, dim sum with sweet sauces.
Production Method
Gentle pressing and cold decanting; must kept at low temperature in stainless steel. Fermentation begun in autoclave at 12–14°C and stopped early (~5–5.5% ABV). No malolactic fermentation; filtered and bottled to retain freshness.
Vineyard Info
Vietti, founded late 1800s in Castiglione Falletto, sources Moscato from small vineyards in Castiglione Tinella; vines average ~40 years on limestone-clay soils.
