Tasting Note
Intense garnet colour. Floral (rose, violet), red cherry, raspberry and blood orange with chalk, pencil shaving and white-pepper notes. Firm, compact tannins, vibrant acidity, mineral backbone and a long, elegant finish.

Western: braised beef, roasted lamb, game, truffle pasta, aged cheeses (Parmigiano-Reggiano). Asian: Peking duck, Korean braised short ribs, spicy Sichuan beef, mushroom hotpot, char siu.
Production Method
Destemmed Nebbiolo fermented 3–5 weeks in stainless steel with submerged-cap maceration; malolactic in large oak casks; aged ~32 months in large oak casks; bottled (often unfiltered).

Vietti, founded late 1800s in Castiglione Falletto and run by the Currado Vietti family, farms ~3 ha in the Ravera single-vineyard (Novello); limestone-clay soils; vines average ~30–34 years, oldest planted 1935.
