Tasting Note
Concentrated black- and blue-fruit core (blackberry, cassis, plum) with violets, baking spice, dark chocolate and earthy-mineral notes. Velvety, ripe tannins, vivid freshness and a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Roast beef, lamb, venison, mushroom risotto; Western charcuterie and aged cheeses. Asian pairings: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), Korean BBQ (bulgogi), braised beef noodle soup, miso‑glazed eggplant.

Production Method
Small-lot fermentation from selected micro‑crus; traditional vinification with careful extraction and élevage in French oak barrels (predominantly new) for approximately 18–20 months before bottling.

Vineyard Info
Vérité was created by Jess Jackson with French vigneron Pierre Seillan (since 1998). The estate uses a micro‑cru approach across Sonoma County to craft Bordeaux‑style blends focused on terroir and ageability.
