Awards/Ratings
Noted scores ~92–94pts in specialist reviews; Thomas Parker MW ~93; French retail reviews 93–94; widely praised for quality in 2022 vintage
Tasting Note
Golden white; aromas of brioche, pear, white peach, citrus and flinty/saline minerality. Creamy mid-palate with fresh acidity and a long, saline finish (ripe orchard fruit, baked bread, almond).
Food Pairing
Western: roast cod, scallops, creamy seafood risotto, roast veal, Comté or triple‑cream cheeses. Asian: miso‑glazed black cod, sashimi/ sushi, tempura prawns, coconut‑milk monkfish curry, steamed fish with ginger and scallion.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Chardonnay from Davayé; long fermentations and élevage in oak (≈25–30% new barrels) on fine lees with light bâtonnage for several months. Some parcels farmed with biological principles.
