Tasting Note
Ripe plum and redcurrant with dark chocolate, tobacco and spice; supple, velvety and sweetly tannic with cedar/oak, herb and lingering woodsmoke on a long finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, braised beef short ribs, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Chinese char siu or roast duck, Malaysian beef rendang, Thai massaman curry.

Production Method
Destemmed and fermented in stainless/open tanks; underwent malolactic fermentation and matured in oak barrels—estimated 14–18 months in French oak based on Vergelegen Reserve practices.
