Tasting Note
Concentrated Napa Cabernet with black cassis, black cherry and boysenberry, layered with tobacco, licorice, cedar and dark chocolate. Lavender and herbal notes, fine-grained tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, Peking duck, soy-braised beef, rich Szechuan beef (umami-focused dishes).
Production Method
Hand-harvested, gently sorted and vinified; aged about 18–20 months in French oak (≈40% new). Minimalist intervention; estate fruit, primarily dry-farmed.

Owned and managed by Christian Moueix (Ets. Moueix) since 2008. 31.5 acres on the Oakville bench; mainly Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced and matured at Dominus; certified organic in 2021.
