Tasting Note
Dark cherry and ripe berry flavours with nutty oak, smoked charcuterie and spice. Full-bodied and concentrated with fine-grained tannins, bright acidity and a long, saline-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, rack of lamb, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, teriyaki salmon, soy-ginger mushroom and shiitake stir-fry.
Production Method
Organically grown, hand-harvested fruit; 50% destemmed, 5–7 day cold soak; indigenous fermentation with 5–7 days post-ferment skin contact; matured ~11 months in French barriques (≈18% new).

Founded by Sam Neill, Two Paddocks farms four Central Otago estate vineyards (Fusilier, First Paddock, Last Chance, Red Bank). Organic viticulture, high-density plantings, low yields and predominantly hand-tended vines.
