Tasting Note
Deep black-fruit core of cassis and plum with rose, spice, licorice, cedar and tobacco. Full-bodied with firm, grainy tannins, fresh acidity and a long, earthy finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled ribeye, beef stews, game, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi), char siu, braised beef short ribs, rich Sichuan beef dishes.
Production Method
Harvested and vinified by parcel in temperature-controlled tanks; aged about 12–13 months in French oak (≈30% new). Traditional Bordeaux blending and maturation.

Château Tronquoy-Lalande (branded Tronquoy since 2019) is a ~30 ha Saint-Estèphe estate acquired by Martin & Olivier Bouygues in 2006; extensively renovated and moving to organic certification (completed 2024).
