Production Method
Estate fruit fermented traditionally; matured ~6 years in used American‑oak barriques, racked twice yearly, clarified with egg whites and frequently bottled without filtration.

Family‑run R. López de Heredia in Haro (founded 1877). Viña Tondonia vineyard planted 1913–14 on the right bank of the Ebro; historic, long‑ageing Rioja tradition.
