Tasting Note

Intense ruby red with black pepper, raisin and sweet red-cherry flavors; savory, spicy mid-to-full body, balanced acidity and silky to taut tannins, with a persistent, savory finish.

Production Method

Traditional Ripasso: Valpolicella wine refermented on warm Amarone pomace; initial stainless-steel fermentation, ~12 days on skins, then 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

Tommasi Viticoltori, family-owned since 1902 (Pedemonte, Verona). Estate fruit from Conca d'Oro, La Groletta and De Buris; sustainable viticulture and estate-controlled production.
