Tasting Note
Bright citrus and grapefruit zest with white stone fruit, honeysuckle and toasted macadamia; crystalline minerality, vibrant acidity and saline, nutty finish. Concentrated, layered and long-lived.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled lobster, roasted pork, veal piccata, creamy poultry or mushroom dishes. Asian: sashimi/sushi, miso-glazed fish, Vietnamese spring rolls, lightly spiced Thai or Chinese dim sum.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Furmint; gentle pressing, fermented in new French and Hungarian oak; 3 months in oak with weekly bâtonnage, 5 further months in barrel, then ~6 months in stainless before bottling.

Single-vineyard Petrács (Tolcsva) — ~4 ha of ~60-year-old bush vines on andesite bedrock with semi-precious stones; steep slopes worked by hand and horse. Produced by Tokaj Oremus (Vega Sicilia group).
