Awards/Ratings
Positively reviewed by several retailers and trade sites (KL Wines, Spiro Wines, Voyageurs du Vin, Napa Wine Project); widely described as a high-quality young-vine Napa Cabernet with aging potential
Tasting Note
Deep, brooding dark-fruit core (blackberry, plum, black cherry) with black tea, graphite and savory herbal notes. Broad, silky texture, powdery yet resolved tannins, dense mid‑palate and a long, detailed finish with smoked sage and peppery spice.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, roasted lamb chops, wild mushroom risotto, aged cheddar or blue cheese. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi/bulgogi), Szechuan-style beef, char siu pork, hoisin/peking duck.
Production Method
Sourced from younger vineyard blocks at Harlan Estate, BOND and Promontory. Lots vinified separately, blended, then aged ~3 years in a mix of new and neutral French oak and Austrian casks, followed by extended bottle aging.
Vineyard Info
A project of the Harlan family (Winemaker Will Harlan), launched from younger blocks of Harlan Estate, BOND and Promontory. Began as a family/staff bottling and released publicly from 2013 onward.
