Tasting Note

Concentrated black and red berry fruits with dark chocolate, espresso and black pepper. Earthy liquorice and mint notes, saline, fine-grained tannins and a long mocha-cedar finish.


Food Pairing

Roast lamb, beef short ribs, grilled ribeye, aged cheddar and mushroom ragù; Asian: char siu, Korean BBQ beef, braised beef noodle soup, spicy Sichuan lamb skewers.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, open-fermented on wild yeasts with gentle pump-overs; basket-pressed, matured ~23 months in a mix of new and seasoned French and metissage 300L oak; biodynamic practices employed.

Tarrawatta is an Eden Valley estate launched by the Goldin Group; viticulturist Nick Radford and winemaker Craig Isbel oversee small high-end parcels from old vines.
