Tasting Note
Concentrated dark-plum, blackberry and blueberry fruit with black liquorice, violets, spice, tobacco and roasted-meat savouriness. Dense, polished oak and dark-chocolate notes; powerful yet balanced with a long, elegant finish.
Food Pairing
Grilled/roast lamb, charred rib-eye, beef short ribs, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, Sichuan beef, hoisin-roast duck, spicy lamb curries.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, de-stemmed; open ferments with gentle extraction, basket-pressed and matured in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads (~20–24 months).

From the Ambervale single vineyard (old, mostly dry-grown vines planted c.1968) on Tarrawatta estate. Run by Nick Radford; winemaking led by Craig Isbel. Estate owned by the Goldin Group.
