Tasting Note
Medium–to–full bodied Saint-Julien: blackcurrant, plum and blackberry with cedar, tobacco, dried herbs and a mineral/iron note; firm grainy tannins and a savory, slightly earthy finish, elegant and structured with good freshness.

Production Method

Château Talbot, a Fourth Growth (1855) in Saint-Julien, is family-owned by the Cordier/Bignon-Cordier family since 1917/18; estate ~100–110 ha on fine gravel soils.
