Tasting Note

Medium-bodied red: plum, blackberry and dark cherry with dried herb, truffle and subtle oak spice. Fine-grained, velvety tannins, balanced acidity and a long, savoury finish.

Production Method

Hand-picked from ungrafted 1860 vines; fermented in historic open oak vats and matured ~18 months in French oak (often part new), small-batch bottling.
